The staff at Summerhill Villa are very friendly and very helpful. They are very caring when dealing with their residents. My mom has been doing great since she moved into the facility. She has been eating well and is taken care of by the staff. We do not have to worry about her as we know she is safe and happy.
Great place for seniors! They have activities to keep them busy and it's a wonderful environment!
I think when I am a senior, I'll be moving in too!
Summerhill Villa is not just a beautiful and clean place to live but also the staff actually cares. My Mom is 96 and fiercely independent; so I had reservations about her move to assisted living. However, she was shown great respect and allowed to maintain her dignity even as she diminished in her abilities. When the time came to move Mom to the Memory Care Villa at Summerhill everyone on the staff made the transition as graceful for her and me as possible. Helping a loved one go through the last stages of life has all its own stress and heartache. The staff at Summerhill are there to guide, give support and most important to Mom and myself, they listen. I think know that what Summerhill promises they have continued to deliver!
We had to move our family member quickly into assisted living this last August. Summerhill Villa responded immediately to our urgent needs and continue to be always available for our numerous phone calls and questions. Cynthia Drachenberg, the director in Santa Clarita has gone above and beyond in her counseling and care for our mom, as well as my husband and myself during this new journey. When visiting the facility, I am always impressed how friendly the personnel respond to us, from the front desk, med techs and especially the servers in the residential dining hall. We know our loved one is not only safe but with people who genuinely care for her as a person.
