I first found out about Temple Beth Ami when I heard that it was hosting an event for Senator Bernard Sanders. Senator Sanders is not only Jewish, he was as a young man a member of, "Hasomer Hatziar", a Jewish Organization that dedicates itself to social equality and the ongoing fight for both social justice and a sense of "Community" for all of those who fight for social justice. Temple Beth Ami, the Temple Of The House Of Friendship. Even though I live in Studio City, which is a 45 minute drive from the Santa Clarita, I believe that Temple Beth Ami is a place where Community, Spirituality and commitment to social justice exists. Certainly all of those in the United States, even non-Jews, should be creating similar places that combine the core qualities that are required to elevate all peoples who are seeking a commitment to social justice, a commitment to human values and a commitment to spirituality.”

“I LOVED my experience at Pure Births. I toured 4 other birthing centers, and PB was my absolute favorite from the get go. They made me feel so empowered, informed, and comfortable every step of the way. They are super professional. Their birthing center is so beautiful, clean, and cozy. They have the most wonderful blend of being holistic while making me feel safe. Their birthing center is only 3 minutes away from Henry Mayo, and there is an ambulance that is in their shopping center if I had needed a transfer. I was bummed that Tiffany the owner did not end up being my midwife as she was a huge selling point to me and part of why I chose PB, but the back up midwife was wonderful, and she did a fabulous job. I did have the two birthing assistants at my birth that I had had at my prenatal appointments, and they were fabulous. I am so grateful that I found PB, and was able to birth with them. I would choose them again in a heartbeat! PS bonus fact: They were also the most affordable birthing center of all of the ones that I toured!”

The focus at Highkicks is not just on the skill of martial arts, but on the discipline aspect as well. This has been wonderful for our son.
