But that's what is to be expected when you are seeing someone who gives her full attention to the patient in front of her. Honestly, this is what is missing in modern medicine and why so many people flock to alternative care. She never rushes, never makes you feel like her mind is on the next patient. She gives you her full attention and caring like a small town doctor or the doctors of yesteryear. I, for one, am happy to wait to see her if she has a wait. It's worth it. And it's only sometimes. I have been in her care for 5 years and have always received the best care. I wouldn't go anywhere else even if I had to pay out of pocket. Thankfully, she is on my insurance plan! To the reviewer who complained about the wait and called his visit a waste of time...I would say...you completely missed the point of a doctor who commits to her patients, each and every one of them. And perhaps that type of patient would be better served by today's fast paced McDonalds style drive through Doctor. To each his own.”

We traveled from Canada to seek his expert opinion on my mother's Glaucoma and it was the best decision we have made in all her treatment. Dr Richardson really took the time to understand all that was going on and gave an honest and robust assessment and empowered us to take proactive steps to slow/halt mom's glaucoma progression. He realized the immediacy of our situation and was also able to get us an urgent referral to one of the most sought after surgeons in Canada. That's in stark contrast to our doctors back home that have been reactive and more or less watching my mom go blind and always intervening too late. His proactive approach is what is absolutely necessary if patients are to slow glaucoma progression. Perhaps the quality that has stayed with us the most is that he genuinely cares for his patient and is willing to provide them with whatever care they need. That's a huge difference from our other doctors who never gave mom the time and attention her complicated glaucoma required. It blows our mind that he provides such care to an overseas patient, that only saw him for one visit, and with no prior or expected future patient relationship. How lucky must his regular patients be!”
