“You are the best. Thank you Maria and the Pharmacy. I came on Sunday, 9/27/2020 after being treated like homeless people asking for food in the CVS Pharmacy in Alhambra. Here is what I wrote to the CVS Headquarters: "1st time use this pharmacy and it's already the worst in my 27 years as an Alhambra resident. The lady (maybe a Chinese, from the other reviews.) didn't say hi and thank you. We were like homeless coming in asking for food instead of getting prescription medicine. The time is around 6 pm, Saturday, September 26. By the way, we were the only customer at that time. When we want to Walmart pharmacy on Sunday, it was completely different. The lady helped us to search and compare coupons on multiple websites using her own time (it was 5 minutes after closing). Her name is Maria and she treats all her customers like her own family. I would suggest the CVS store manager going to Walmart Baldwin Park to learn what is being an American about."”

“I have been with Dr. Mattei’s patient quite a long time. I recently moved away and I didn’t have a chance to see him because of that. Every since I started a job that demands me of 8 hours a day in-front-of-computer, plus quite stressful job, my body started to give me pain. I started to have pain on my shoulder, neck, hip and hand started to tingle. I wake up in a middle of night because of these pains. With my desperate attempt, I called Dr. Mattei if he could help someway. He has suggested to try a distance healing with him. We have done so far 6 sessions and my pains are almost gone 95%. That is something I never imagined someone can heal from 350 miles away! He is a true healer. He will heal you with different methods he practiced and you will be happy to know him for your life time. Thank you Dr. Mattei!”

“I've waited 3+ years for Vicky to come back. She was the former owner and hairstylist of Hair Matters 3 years ago before she sold it due to familial priorities. FYI - if you are wondering why Hair Matters's old reviews are top notch (if they are still there). Let's get to the point. I'm a vain person and have paid across the spectrum of price points for a good, thorough haircut. I've been to salons that charged me $45+ to $12 cuts in the SGV & West LA for many years until I met Vicky back in 2010 when she owned Hair Matters. I went to her until 2012-ish before she sold her old business. I've moved to San Jose and am still making an effort to see her monthly in LA because her haircuts are the best. I trust her and occasionally have told her to do whatever she wants to do with my hair. She just opened this shop in December 2015 and I'm excited that she is back. It's $20, but the attention to detail is BEYOND worth it and I hate it when I would go home and see uneven hairs or stray hairs sticking out (after pulling my ears forward) after a hair cut, which has occurred to me before. I actually think she should charge more for the time, effort, input, and skill she puts into my haircuts, but I'm not complaining about the price. In addition to the detail and precision of her cuts, she takes her time and communicates with you to ensure that you get the haircut you actually want. She is totally honest if the cut is do-able or not because different hair types can yield certain results. She always make an effort to be creative if their are discrepancies between your hair type and the cut you want by making it work for you. More importantly, she tries to make the haircut last and cuts it in a way that looks good after having it grown out. She takes that into account and doesn't give haircuts that look good until you go home and wash it. Quality, Precision, Honest Input, Approachable Demeanor and SKILLS = Vicky!”

“This my new favorite place. The practitioners are super professional and the space is beautiful. The sound bath is the best one that i have been too. Is the service pricey? Yes it is...but keep in mind, you get what you pay for. I recommend that you save your money and go at least once. Don't be late. You will not be allowed in...and then you will be mad. I recommend that you leave early or pay the extra five bucks to save your spot for a later date. I have been to this sound bath seversl times and i plan to keep going.”

“Best Whole Foods I have visited. Everything seems to be new, including the facility itself. All the good WF stuff plus very clean and modern restrooms, plenty of seating inside and outside, cools bar and TVs in the lobby area and huge parking garage underneath- this store is worth visiting even further away.”

“Highly recommend. Guide Acupuncture is incredible. Melissa came very highly recommended to me from a coworker when I was looking for options to improve my skin (hormone- and stress-induced breakouts). I appreciate how thorough Melissa is in her assessments—she takes notes each session to track symptoms, patterns, and improvement. The treatments are personalized each time so you can feel the most relief. I had never tried acupuncture prior to coming here, but now I go every other week because of the benefits, both mental and physical. I HATE needles but love acupuncture!”

“Everyone deserves some pampering. I had a facial at Nova Skin+Bar and as I lay on the table, I had this moment wherein I thought, why have I not had a facial before? Suzette was amazing!! She was very professional and personable. The products she used were not irritating to my sensitive skin. My face was glowing after. Thank you Suzette and I can’t wait to see you next time.”
