“Some of the gatherings of neighborhoods crop up, unexpectedly. This library is one of them! It's rather an attractive tiny gem and those surrounding old American Craftsman homes adds a unique charm. Although it's relatively small in contrast to a generic library, it has everything you need ( in my opinion). Computers, study desks, a sizable collection of the classics, and friendly staff. In addition, the City Hall is literally only a few feet away. Followed by a tiny skatepark, all of these sites are all within Cudahy Park. This could be found in the intersections of Park and Cecilia Avenues. I plan to visit this small library, occasionally from my commute, every so often.”

“Who really goes to a library while on vacation?! But i can guarantee you won't regret it. Walking up the staircases and appreciate the architecture of the building. Go to the catalog room, walk around and see all the portraits on the wall. It's like walking through a museum for free! Or you can pass the time by popping a book open.”

“I called this library to ask if they had a book available and after talking to the very helpful librarian on the phone I visited and had a library card, book, and smile on my face from the awesome service I received here from Karina ( sorry if I got your name wrong) and from having access to this great resource. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, clean quiet environment, available parking, all in all 5 stars. Thank you!”

“This Library, I would go to after school, at John Muir. Almost every day, I would use the computers when we first got internet for the general public, I would play, Magic School Bus game online. Never once did I think or to read and check out books but my mind was in the time of adopting the computer. I could of been Jeff Bezos, I could of been the avid reader and computer geek people were making front of and now work for. I wish to those who read this, especially to the young ones younger then 18, because when you turn 18, by law you can say, good bye to your parents and never look back, or you can become what your parents are, good or bad. Read books, adopt coding, and how things work and are. Read history, self-help books, biographies and anything you are inspired or brings your ideas to light. You are the future! Change, changes by one step at a time, but most importantly, it starts with you! - Rich Dad PS I am now reading more books then ever, and wish to have knew that books are the key to the door people shut.”

“Built of river rock, this great library is a joy! And best of all there are real BOOKS--a vanishing treasure--plus movies and music to take home with you. The people are great and there are all kinds of events scheduled for kids and adults. Upcoming, a three part class to learn the ukulele. They'll even loan you one! Check this place out--it is one of the treasures of Highland Park!”

“Claremont School of Theology is one of the best theological schools in the country. I went to Claremont to do a Master of Arts degree in New Testament. My family stayed in the North Housing for two years, and it has been a very good experience for us. The school provides a healthy environment for the community to discuss, dialogue, debate and do a serious theological research. Claremont's library has an awesome collection of books, periodicals, etc. The professors are very friendly and kind in helping the students to grow. I really enjoyed my time in Claremont as a graduate student.”
