“There are many parks. The parks in Valencia are tied by paths for walking or bicycles that are called paseos. All parks have an area for children to play on equipment. There is often a big open space grass area. Some have exercise equipment too. There are places to sit on a bench or table and benches.”

Trebek Open Space

Romper Hill climb

Recreation Dog Park

Address: 5201 E 7th St, Long Beach, CA 90804, USA

Park

“This is the first dog park that I've taken my dog to, and wow is this a nice and roomy dog park. The park is split 75/25 bigger part for medium and large dogs and small dogs on the other part. It isn't enforced but if you like you can bring your little friend to the deep-end of the pool if they feel confident enough. The larger side of the park has tons of room to run and jump over tree stumps that are in the middle. No need to worry about bringing throwing balls there are tons of them that are left from others to use, unless you have your own that you would like to use to help keep other dogs germs to themselves. Overall I can say that my dog had a great time”

Verdugo Park

Address: 1621 Cañada Blvd, Glendale, CA 91208, USA

Park

“California has tons of amazing parks. Verdugo Park is pretty good with lots of spots to actually barbecue and picnic, and then there is this main area where there's a little stage and lots of picnic tables. I think there is a baseball field that is useful and plenty of open grass areas for families. I think parking can be a little bit of a challenge because the parking lot is somewhat small, but comment off times and there's usually plenty of available. There's also plenty of hiking trails around Verdugo Park.”

Zankou Chicken

Address: 1296 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91106, USA

Restaurant Cemetery Park

“Only thing that's changed in the 20+ years of going here has been the price. A place thats this good at what they do doesn't need to change anything. I would give it a 5 star but its not a 5 star place and that's actually a good thing in this case. The food is the perfect amount of good and its quick and easy. Go here its a solid lunch spot.”

Pfc. James Anderson Memorial Park

Address: 19101 S Wilmington Ave, Carson, CA 90746, USA

Park

“Love this park! Has basketball courts, tennis courts, pergolas/bbqs pits, workout equipment, nice big trees to sit under. Great park overall that is maintained well.”

Arcadia County Park

Address: 405 S Santa Anita Ave, Arcadia, CA 91006, USA

Park

“This is a beautiful park! It's very big, lots of nice paths to walk. Has great birds! See woodpeckers every time, swallows come in spring, seen mountain bluebirds, goldfinches, and more. Has lots of squirrels too. There is a public pool, lawn bowling, and more. I've loved this park since I was a teenager. I still try to stop every time I'm in the area. They just don't make parks like this anymore.”

Desiderio Neighborhood Park

Address: 10 N Arroyo Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105, USA

Park

“This park is right next to and under the Colorado Street Bridge. It’s a beautiful little tucked away small neighborhood park. Finding it is a bit tricky, but it’s truly a gem in Pasadena. There is parking on site, and it’s free. (At leafs when I was there) There is a small kids playground / area, along with a few picnic tables. Please be mindful this park is right in the middle of a small neighborhood. So please be courteous and respectful. Just as you’d want if someone was visiting your little treasure.”

Jenni Rivera Memorial Park

Address: 2001 Walnut Ave, Long Beach, CA 90806, USA

Park

“The mural is so well done!! It is slightly off-putting that there are homeless people camped out about 100' away. One guy came over offering to take pictures of us and seemed annoyed and rushed our decision when he saw we were apprehensive about it. We told him no thank you and quickly walked away cutting our visit short. Beyond that it is a beautiful well maintained park and mural.”

Soledad Canyon RV Resort- Thousand Trails RV Park

Address: Thousand Trails, Acton, CA 93510, USA

Campground Lodging Park

“Huge park, no cell coverage, like several of TT parks, it needs upkeep and repair. There is no "adult only" lodge and pool, both are family style. The pool water in the incredibly massive pool is cold, for those that like that. Too cold for me even after a long hot summer to warm it up. Will go back, it would be our favorite if there was some $ reinvested. The trains that go by often do so unnoticed. Lots of activities and bands. No water in the river, it's been a drought.”
