A great location for hiking, horseback riding, walking around and looking at the beautiful facades. The trees and streams are picturesque. There’s also a venue here for music or parties - in a big barn. This place is fantastically out of the way and from another era. Very tranquil. I will be back!”

Trail starts at the parking lot of Malibu Seafood Patio so you could get their famous fish and sticks after your hike. Or go across the highway under the bridge to enjoy the ocean.”

Corral Canyon Beach

Address: 25712-, 26028 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265, USA

Park

“Get here early. Street parking only. Narrow beach with short cliff walk down from the street. Port-a-potty bathrooms and short walk to a restaurant. All this adds up to uncrowded even on a weekend in the summer, purely due to lack of parking and literal space. Decent waves for the family and a beginner surfer. Only downfall is the road traffic, particularly hogs and rockets”

Steep Canyon Trail

Address: 902 Steep Canyon Rd, Diamond Bar, CA 91765, USA

Lol it has just as many downs. Horse take this trail as well. Picture is of the so called cool rock my boy decided he could leave without but left in my truck. Plan to return them on next trip. Keep the wild were it was.”
