You can see to the West all down to the ocean and to the east you can see Santa Monica all the way to downtown Los Angeles. The west side of prochain of the Temescal Trail Loop is more exposed to the Sun and when you turn on the Canyonside there's more shaded areas for your hike.”

Park Parking

“A gem of a wildness park on the southern boundary of Santa Clarita. Miles of hiking trails through beautiful riparian landscapes, a narrow, steep-walled canyon and even bubbling tar pits. The views of the Santa Clarita Valley from the top are unparalleled. Good for mountain biking also, but be warned it is for advanced riders only. The outer loop trail is a fairly strenuous 5.1 miles, but well worth the effort. Allow 2 hours if you are hiking and bring the whole family!”

Cooper Canyon Trail Camp

Address: Pearblossom, CA 93553, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“April 2017 - This hike-in trail camp on the PCT is amazing - I highly recommend it. The campsite is surrounded by mature trees and has a creek right along the south side. There are three large camping areas with a fire ring and tables. There is enough room for many tents. The bathroom is far enough away that it doesn't disturb but also not too far to make it a hike to use it. Unfortunately the bathroom was quite dirty - the forest service should come around to clean it more often. There is no potable water available so bring a filter or boil the water from the creek.”

C. David Molina Park

Address: 4951 Oregon Ave, Long Beach, CA 90805, USA

Park

“Very nice neighborhood park. I live nearby and was surprised how nicely done the playground is. Only thing is on the weekends I do see there's a lot of people that visit the park so I don't even stop by with my kids. I would only go on weekdays to avoid the crowd and be able to see my kids better. There is the wetlands trail right at the end of the parking lot. Great for exercising. There is a small exercise equipment at the entrance of parking lot. A full size soccer field with fake turf as well. Overall it's a great addition to my neighborhood!”

Rivas Canyon Park

Address: Pacific Palisades, CA 90272, USA
