They make the dumplings from scratch and you can taste the difference. So yummy and comforting. The steamed dumplings are bready and soft and reheat nicely. The dumplings were bigger than we expected, if you eat a lot of frozen dumplings you will notice that for sure, and we took half of it home for dinner later. Water is self-service. Its a small shop so you might overlook it, but its good food by good people.”

“I was waiting for my Mom shopping at the Vietnamese market. Noticed a new restaurant where the old Chinese buffet used to be and decided to wait there. I met Dave the owner and instantly became friends. The Vietnamese ice coffee I ordered was great. The food he was serving to other customers looked fantastic. I have to compliment the decor. My family and I ate at this location for years when it was other types of restaurants. In the past, the place was not very spectacular. In fact, the Chinese buffet was a bit tacky. Dave has done a wonderful job at making the place look like a million bucks. Very comfortable environment to dine or just hang out while Mom is shopping. Dave shown me some of his dishes and they look spectacular. Anyone can cook food and throwing it on a plate. Taking time to make presentation brings that extra quality to a food establishment. I completely recommend Dana Gourmet Cafe and look forward to dining there the next time I'm in Pomona.”

The food was great, I just felt like the chicken was a bit chewy and had a lot of fat in it. I was basically was eating around the fat, but it was good overall, also I asked for a fork because I didn’t wanna use my chopsticks and the server got me a mini tiny fork? Not sure what that’s about considering I’m a 6 foot guy with big hands so I felt awkward eating. But the server was great! He was fast & very helpful.”

However it’s served with bone so if you don’t want that or used to it maybe you pass.
