“Went to Redondo beach with my 86 yr old mom to catch some sea breeze. Original plan was to have lunch in one the restaurants along the pier. Since I was allergic to seafood, checked out Yelp and saw the Village Pizza and read the reviews. We came early and got a table al fresco. Ordered a cup of the tomato brisque soup, fried zuchinni and a small Village Special pizza. Boy! Where we not disappointed! Crust was crunchy and thin (just the way I like it) and toppings were generous. To add more spice on the pizza, I tried their own brand of chili oil. Not too spicy and went really well instead of them chili flakes. Will we come back? Most definitely!”

“The pickup window is rather responsive and efficient. However, I'm not sure about the parking situation and its design. It seems quite constricted to maneuver when there are multiple customers at the same time, or close to the rush hours. Luckily, the neighbors have sprawling of parking spaces, it works out. I have been to this fast joint a few times over the years, and mostly had no issues. Guess keeping the spirit of their heritage, brings out a touch of hospitality!”

They do their best to make you feel happy and do everything asked and beyond. Almost no waiting... spring rolls are fresh and delicious. “We were staying at a hotel up the street, and was looking for a walkable place to eat when we saw this Italian eatery. It is a small mom & pop (?) place, where you order at the counter, go sit and they bring your food to you, type place. Not only was the customer service great, but what we had to eat was outstanding!! I had the Linguine & clams…👍🏻👍🏻 My wife had the chicken parmigiana sandwich 👍🏻👍🏻 And our 2 vegetarian friends, had a pizza and eggplant parm sandwich 👍🏻👍🏻 They do have limited beer and wine, plus sparkling water. We will definitely be back next time we are staying in this area!”

“The beef here is phenomenal. I can't believe I had been driving past this place for years and not been in until recently. The ingredients here are outstanding. This is NOT a place with dry, reheated and charred beef strips or wafer thin slices of less than choice quality cuts. This is real, slow cooked (or pressure cooked?), high-quality, substantial chunks of tender beef in a sauce that is everything you expect when you want teriyaki. I get the bowl and it is plenty of food for me. And well preportioned, so you aren't just left with a bowl full of rice after a few bites. I waited until I had ordered a few times before reviewing, just to be sure it wasn't a fluke. Service is always kind and genuine, like an old family friend who invited you to dinner. And quick which is fantastic, since I tend to get impatient waiting when I can smell the intoxicating scent of my much anticipated meal. In fact, that's why I have yet to be able to even snap a pic to share with all of you, I am usually half way through before I remember. Bottom line is that if you have not been here yet, you are missing out.
