“The lunch special is only $9.99 for 60+ dishes as of April 2022. This is a very typical Cantonese style Chinese restaurant and it is very similar to Sam Woo. The food is good and the size of the dishes are fair. Give it a try if you are looking for quick and decent Cantonese Chinese foods for cheap. Quick tips: Don't expect this is the cleanest restaurant. They do not have world class customer services there if you don't speak Cantonese.”

Will need to try one of their loaded fries next! ~ The classic burger hit all the right spots. Mine had a massive slice of red onion that seemed daunting at first but it worked so well. “Good fine dining experience. Place is very limited in capacity so make sure you reserve ahead of time. Parking is a pain but it's worth it. Every dish was great. I am a fan of Japanese and Italian food. I don't usually like fusion restaurants but this place nailed it. My favorite dish was the supplemental course. The menu said it had uni but it did not. Still not complaining, it was delicious. Reminded me of a risotto but with scallops and roe. Service was also great. Really enjoyed the drink recommendations although there aren't cocktails. Everything pairs better with wine or sake anyways.”

“Birria Taco Plate - 2 crunchy beef birria tacos, 1 goat birria taco, Mexican rice, pinto beans, birria stock / 5 🌟! LA Autentica Birrieria is known for the birria ramen dish, I think. Or at least that is how I noticed them. I haven't tried the ramen yet because when I went, I was specifically craving some tacos. Birria style is a close cousin to barbacoa. It is packed with flavor and is commonly used to simmer beef and goat. Birria tacos often come with a side of the consume/broth. The broth here had at least a tacos worth of meat swimming in it. I used it to dunk my crispy tacos in it, like a beef dip sandwich and when I ran out of tacos, I drank the rest of the meaty broth. This is the kind of LA taco experience this city is known for. They pull up their truck to the same spot every day and have gathered a loyal following. Who needs a brick and mortar! They had some picnic tables set up so I dove in right after I received my order. I had this meal a few days before I'm writing the review and I can still taste the birria. It was very yummy. I am intrigued by the birria ramen dish so I will have to find my way back to try it soon.”

“This korean bbq place is great. What I really liked is their banchan buffet which also had a dessert like sesame seed buchi or fried sesame balls with red bean inside. I can get as much pickled radish, japchae, kimchi, macaroni salad etc. I am most happy with the braised beef ribs included in the bar which is so tender and flavorful. They also have some sauces and the korean bean paste which i dont see a lot in other kbbq places. Their staff are so attentive that even before you are seated, your table is ready with a salad bowl, some banchans and plates. Their meats are delicious and they also have seafood which you can tell are fresh. The only thing is that I've tasted better kimchis in other korean places. Also I am still missing thr veggies like lettuce leaves which i can use to wrap the meats with. A reminder though to be careful with the banchan bar. The unlimited banchan can make you really full easily. We weren't able to taste some of the other meats they offer even if it's a smorgasbord restaurant because we got so full so fast. Price is very reasonable per person compared to other kbbq places with limited banchans and meats.”

“Went here with the mom group to celebrate a birthday. Got a great table on the patio before sunset. Great views, great vibes. No wait at 6pm on Thursday night. Of course we all order a round of yummy cocktails. I got the Punta Negra cocktail. I slurped it down pretty fast since it had so much ice so I decided I needed to switch to beer the rest of the night. We all ordered various tacos off their a la cart taco menu. I have had their Baja fish tacos before so I ordered 2 of them. The other girls mixed their taco plates to try more variety. They were all yummy and very filling. No rice & beans needed after you eat chips, salsa and guacamole. Since it was a birthday celebration we ordered the cherry dessert. Holy yum! It’s huge and perfect for the four of us. Definitely a great location, great atmosphere, food and service. If you want to work of your dinner, they opened a roller rink below.”

“The concept of the gas station paired with a donut shop is pretty ingenious. You can grab your coffee a quick donut for yourself or some for the office and fuel up all with one stop. The meats were just the right thickness and the toppings, bread were very fresh for a late evening order. The person who took the order was very courteous and really went out of his way to make sure you were satisfied. I didn't eat the submarine right away. I had purchased it to eat on the plane back to NYC, but ended up eating it for lunch the following day. It was still fresh and delicious! I wish there were some franchisees in NYC. “Only gave a 4 stars because you can't buy less than a pound of fish, only a pound or more. I only wanted 1/4 pound for myself and could not eat or use a full pound. Other than that, I got the Delta which is 2 catfish filets and two sides. I had the lobster Mac n cheese and collards. The fish was good, seasoned well but a tad bit on the small side. The greens were spicy and the Mac n cheese had lobster and was very good. It was also very rich so I couldn't eat it all. I chatted with the co-owner Maria, and she was so very nice. I enjoyed my meal and would go back”
