“I used to come here between 2006-2010. The staff were really nice with everyone. I didn't seem to see any problems between freshmen through senior year. Made the best time of it. I do know there's new programs that weren't around when I was there along with a pool and the freshmen are now separated from the others from what someone told me. Overall just do easy classwork and homework and its an easy grade. I remember ditching a lot and as long as I did any work I missed it was a pretty simple easy thing. Overall its a nice school. Much better now.”

“I love Merwin it has lots of great things. But now I'm a sixth grader who go's to Las Palmas . For kindergarten I had Ms. Greaves, For 1st grade I had Mrs. Spolar, For 2nd grade I had Ms.Shaffer, For 3rd grade I had Mrs.Sallenbach, For 4th grade I had Mr.Villagran, and for 5th grade I had Ms. Allred she was a really great teacher but now she works at Tray wick as a coach for 8th grade. She was great.Mr.Helabrin was really great too he gave us Starburst for answering a question in science which was really fascinating. Mrs.Alma was really nice too I loved joining her cleaning crew I love seeing the campus neat and clean. 😊 I really miss Merwin and I will always treasure my precious years at Merwin and will never forget them My sister NEVAEH SAUCEDO also goes to Merwin she's in 3rd grade and has Mrs. Mayer is her teacher and she is really nice my sister always talks about her when we pick her up from school she really loves her and values her as the best teacher ever ! “Summer 2010 was my daughters first year going to summer school there and I exaggerate not when I tell you its all we heard about the rest of the year (unfortunately she is in 1st grade, so she could not attend the regular school year). Summer 2011 session just started and she literally ran out the door today. Ms. Garcia is wonderful, my daughter absolutely LOVES her, as so is Ms Sally (the director). I have not personally had any experience with the rest of the teachers, but I have heard no complaints whatsoever. Campus is beautiful, playground great, everything is clean with there just being an overall happy atmosphere everyday. I feel blessed that my daughter is able to attend here, even if just for the summer, and my only regret is that they don't offer higher grade levels for the regular school year.”
