“Nice little corner market. Not a produce market though. Maybe they have a few produce items, don't remember. It's called "Dollar + Store" now and for like three years now, new owners, new look. The previous market here was called "La Buena Fe Market/Mercado", which had the same name and look since 1986 or so, or 1985. But for "Dollar + Store" the new owners totally changed the interior layout, for example the cash register/counter is now on the east side of the store. It was/is alright both ways. The previous market here had some produce for sale, but that was a long time ago. The previous market was at first and for a number of years a Latino/Hispanic market, but that hasn't been the case for over 10 years now, even before the new owners. Because even before the current owners, "La Buena Fe" was a Hispanic market only in name for years, after it was bought and manned by a Pakistani (?) family in the early 2000s or so. The current owners are also from the Pakistan/India/Bangladesh area, and they have dropped the Spanish name and they call it "Dollar + Store". Which makes sense because it's no longer a Spanish store and hasn't been one for over 10 years.”

All of the products are handcrafted in Los Angeles, which originally attracted me to the Janessa Leone brand. I've been wanting to visit this boutique for months and was happy to try JL hats on for size and style. The service was friendly, but not as high-end or engaging as I'd expect for $200+ hats and $400+ shoes. The JL styles and sizes I was interested in were unavailable in store, but available via retailers like ShopBop or Net-a-Porter. The shop has a minimalist layout, but there's creative product showcasing like hanging swings and simple shelves. Pro Tips: - Get your parking validated from Blue Bottle (1 hr for $2) - There is an annual JL sample sale in downtown LA”

“This company is amazing, and is correctly named "Finely Finished". Kerri in the office assisted me prior to the installation date with making sure that I had everything correctly ordered with Door, Hardware, Color & Touch-up kit, to the Locks and Handles. Chad that showed up on time and ready to remove the old door and jam. I had a security door installed and prior to Chad starting he spent time with me noting the changes that will be taking place upon the re-installation of the security door as it would have to be installed a little different as I was getting a new solid wood threshold. The installation is solid, clean, and has a very clean finish look to it. The installation looks as if it was the original installation with the house, absolutely a great install I was amazed there was only one way to describe it was "Finely Finished. I highly recommend this company... Thanks Chad and Kerri, and yes I will be calling you again very soon.”
