“We used to really enjoy coming here. Then after covid they started closing at 8:00 on a weekend which I thought interesting. The food can be good but a lot of times it’s not hot. A previous visit the food was cold so we asked them to heat it up. 15 minutes later we asked about it and they had forgotten about it. They didn’t even offer a pastry as an apology. We decided to give them another shot a year later and it was a little better. The requested items that we wanted served hot were not so we had to wait for them to hear it up. This place could be good but it’s alright. Plus the carpet is really worn and old and needs to be replaced. They don’t seem to really pay attention to the details.”

“A cute little park next to an adorable library, across from the projects that has been totally revamped in the last two years. Normally, a police helicopter is circling at some point during your visit, loud music is blaring, colorful language is being sworn & the skaters are getting high. My kids & now grandkid have all enjoyed this sometimes sketchy park.”

“I ordered bbq chicken kebab yesterday. The lady wears a gloves while preparing the food. I am not sure that she wears the gloves to protect her hands or for customer safety. She did BBQ while wearing it and same time pick up the salad from container in ref. with gloves and handling everything else with same gloves. Is it how to wear a same gloves for whole day. Besides I bought a Sadaf kosher Litte pickles. It was spoiled and smelled. I came back this afternoon to the store and told the owner. He said he is not taking it back. Call Sadat. I told him why I call Sadaf, I bought from you. He said they leave products here for sale, not his problem. I said ok, wonderful service I told him that I am not coming back here anymore He said Have a good day.”

“Elle crushed our house sale in Valley Village. We needed to get out quick to close escrow in another state. She sent us comps, analysis, brought in top notch photographer and videographer, and had it listed the next day. After one day, we were in escrow for over asking. That fell through but Elle was never unsettled, even when I was. Other offers came in including a low cash offer that bounced back and forth, stressing me out. At the peak of my buyer frustration, Elle had five showings and we found our buyer. She was a rock thru the entire (3 week) process. Lovely to us, all business with them. In hindsight, I should have laid back, relaxed, and let her work her magic. Honestly cannot recommend her enough. Outstanding professional and person.”

“Passion fruit and kumquat, 50% ice and 30% sugar is great. It was not as sour as I expected, especially the passion fruit seed they were pretty much tasteless but in the real fruit it is very sour. Overall the drink was more sweet than sour and the lime in the drink made the drink bitter the longer it’s in there.”

“Been coming here since it opened at least once a week. All of the coffee drinks are the best in the neighborhood. Cold crew on tap, and all of the espresso drinks are perfection. They have a small menu of breakfast type snacks and some pastries (normally cinnamon rolls and hand pies), all of which are excellent. Can't go in without getting a waffle though. They're made fresh, come on a stick, and come with your choice of jam (get the melon!). The waffles are also vegan and gluten free which I didn't realize until after I fell in love with them. Crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside!”

“Guidos has great pizza. This was my first time going there and I ordered a large cheese for take out. When I got there I waited a few minutes before it was ready to go. They seemed very busy with deliveries and take out. This location has been in business for over 20 years and it was clear they have been successful. They were very friendly as well. I ate the pizza about an hour after I picked it up and even though it was a bit cold, the crust was still a bit crispy and had a great texture and flavor. It was a classic pizza with the right balance of cheese and sauce. The interior is spartan and small, hence the lower grade for atmosphere. Parking was tight.”
