“I have been going to Dr. Phillips for several years. He is an excellent ophthalmologist. He did my cataract surgery 5 years ago on both eyes and it was a piece of cake! His staff is pleasant and very efficient.”

“I love shopping here. My favorite aisle is there arts and crafts section. Everytime I visit I always find something new. A great place to shop for school supplies and when it comes to party decorations, this is the place to be. And what's helpful to know is they provide helium service for all types of balloons. Overall, my favorite place to shop if you are into creating things.”

“Barbara is an incredibly talented therapist and wonderful person. Her hypnotherapy and group/talked therapy helped me gain valuable insight into myself and my relationships, work through trauma, and improve my self-concept. If you're her client, Barbara truly cares about you -- she is the type of practitioner who thinks about you between sessions and comes back with insights -- and goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and making progress. I can't recommend her highly enough!”

“I had never really been in a paint store but this one was very cool. The owner was there and she showed me around the place and told me about all the different types of paint. I just came to see what was in this place and I learned quite a bit. Great energy and really cool people will to hook you up for your next project Big or small.”

“I like their no-thrill style, as opposed to mainstream peers. Their produce, bread, food court, are among my favorites, and a whole host of bargain items. Maybe other stores have slightly shinier products and an embellished appearance. Perhaps, the quality is a tiny little higher, but not worth the much higher price. especially with inflation nowadays. In the end, it all ends up flushing to the same destination, when one wakes up in the morning.”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with German at Thread Press and I can't express enough how thrilled I am with the results! The quality of their embroidery work is simply outstanding. Every stitch and thread was perfect, resulting in a final product of my medical scrubs that exceeded my expectations. The colors are vibrant, and the textures added depth and dimension, making the finished pieces very impressive. Since wearing my newly embroidered medical scrubs, I have received several compliments and it has only been a week. I highly recommend Thread Press to anyone seeking top-notch embroidery services no matter how big or small the job is (my job was very small, but I was treated like a VIP) Thank you German for making this a fantastic experience. I couldn't be happier with the results. Omid F.”

“Great value for the price. Cheaper than a Motel 6 or Quality Inn but definitely a better deal. The water took a good 10-15 to heat up, but it did get warm. One side of my bed was painful to sleep on, but the the other side felt comfy as a cloud. The fan unit in my room was broken, but the absence of weather stripping under the door allowed for the fresh air I needed. I didn’t find any sort of dirt, hair, or filth like I’ve seen on my last few cheap motel visits to other places. Other customers in the parking lot seemed nice and I didn’t deal with any tweakers or negative personalities. Owner was friendly and very helpful.”

“Don't do it! BUT if you do bring your dogs here to crop their ears. I brought my doberman and let me tell you they look beautiful. At first I was scared due to some of the reviews but I never had an issue with anyone. The Dr. spoke with me before and after surgery which was reassuring. Everyone is also really nice especially Gloria who does the tapping afterwards. Only negative thing is the phones tend to be busy since they are so busy. I found it best to call after lunch. Here's a picture of my baby, enjoy. P.s. try not to do ear cropping during the rainy season. Her tape got wet multiple times which made the process so much longer and frustrating.”

“Nice little corner market. Not a produce market though. Maybe they have a few produce items, don't remember. It's called "Dollar + Store" now and for like three years now, new owners, new look. The previous market here was called "La Buena Fe Market/Mercado", which had the same name and look since 1986 or so, or 1985. But for "Dollar + Store" the new owners totally changed the interior layout, for example the cash register/counter is now on the east side of the store. It was/is alright both ways. The previous market here had some produce for sale, but that was a long time ago. The previous market was at first and for a number of years a Latino/Hispanic market, but that hasn't been the case for over 10 years now, even before the new owners. Because even before the current owners, "La Buena Fe" was a Hispanic market only in name for years, after it was bought and manned by a Pakistani (?) family in the early 2000s or so. The current owners are also from the Pakistan/India/Bangladesh area, and they have dropped the Spanish name and they call it "Dollar + Store". Which makes sense because it's no longer a Spanish store and hasn't been one for over 10 years.”

“I haven't been to the store, but I ordered a vintage glass piece from them online. It arrived in excellent condition as advertised, and had been wrapped and shipped very carefully so as to arrive in great condition. I was impressed with their attention to detail and with how quickly it arrived--3 days! Now it's on display in my kitchen.”
