Great area to see wildlife. You cannot enter it but you can view it from the surrounding areas.
Nice to be able to camp out under the stars.... No Glampers here ????
This place is so peaceful. Be prepared to act like a cowboy. Alot of great things are seen on foot, but beware of snakes.
June 2nd and the poppies and wild flowers going strong. This fairly remote rolling hills park of cattle range and local grass, tumbleweed, mountain bushes and trees spread through out. Water is hard to come by so bring your own. Bobcats, jack rabbits, quail and even the occasional elk or bear can be seen. Much of the park is off limits and closed due to the California condor protection act.
Beautiful vistas and lots of wildlife. Drive carefully though, the road is narrow and turns are tight. Take your time and enjoy the outdoors, close by is Pine Mountain Club, there's a few great places to eat there.
