“I am very pleased with the service and product we received from HomeStory of Marin! My home needed all new closet doors and interior doors. I contacted HomeStory because they are located near my home. My husband and I visited the showroom to pick out the style for the doors and hardware. Shortly after Haime came over to our house to take measurements. He was polite and very professional! He is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. From there, we waited a couple of months, which was no problem and, when the doors arrived at the shop Yvette sent me an email to schedule the job. The job was scheduled for 6/13-6/15. 2 gentleman (Thomas and Elias) showed up at 9:00am sharp on 6/13. We introduced them to our 2 dogs and they couldn't have been kinder and more understanding that they were being barked at. They handled it very well! Thomas and Elias worked on our home for the next 3 days and were a pleasure to be around. By the second day my dogs loved them and so did we. Their communication was excellent and they both were very polite addressing us by "Mr. and Mrs. Kraemer" and, let us know step by step what they were doing and what the plan for the day was. Their workmanship was excellent, we were very happy with their work. We completely trust them both and we love the doors and closet doors. “We hired Mark and his team to do a whole-house remodel. He and his team were fantastic from the start. He is very knowledgable about many different areas in construction. We used his knowledge several times in the construction project as we came across termite damage, water damage and other odds and ends for an older home. He found workable solutions every time, and was very reasonable on his cost projections. Another area where Mark was fantastic was that when he makes a commitment he keeps it. We could always trust him to do what he said and follow through. A rarity it seems with contractors these days. We would highly recommend him to anyone, large project or small.”

“I was at Anubhuti Retreat Center for a silent meditation retreat 2 weeks ago. It was an exhilarating experience for me - 3 days of complete silence from words, technology and communication. 3 days of Meditation, introspection, yoga, sleep and food - the components that I absolutely needed at this point in my life. Can't thank the retreat staff / volunteers enough for their hospitality. The way they maintain the center for retreats like this is impeccable. The food is cooked by volunteers fresh everyday, with organic produce from their garden, with a lot of love. 3 meals a day of warm, freshly cooked food made me eat the maximum I have eaten in my life probably. The center has a number of meditation rooms with music, candles, comfortable seating, books. It is full of positive vibes and energy from all the meditation and silence. Our instructor, Jay Chodagam, was so attentive to each one of us, even though there were 20 of us in the retreat group. We were all at different levels of meditation experience - beginners to everyday practitioners. Jay made sure that the retreat was useful to all levels. His pace of teaching meditation was perfect. He also came up with such creative ways for introspection, for us to connect with each other and enjoy the blessings in our lives. At the end of the retreat, we all felt like 1 family - even though we never spoke to each other for 3 days. That was the power of this center, the staff and Jay. I would recommend this spiritual experience to anyone who is ready.”
