“I was blessed to have walked into Eden's Apothecary in April of this year. I was warmly welcomed by Eden and had the pleasure of looking, smelling and admiring all of the wares in her store. I talked to her about a Baker's Cyst that had formed behind the knee that had been replaced over a year ago. A Baker's Cyst is a fluid filled cyst that causes a bulge and a feeling of tightness behind the knee. The pain can get worse when you fully flex or extend your knee. I was having episodes of debilitating cramps that would leave me unable to take a step and in the mornings after getting out of bed, I had to hold on to support for the first few steps. I explained my problem to Eden and she recommended a salve by the name of St. John's Wort. After using the salve for approximately a week, I began to notice that I was no longer having the leg cramps and it was easier to walk. It has been almost a month and I can now take long walks without discomfort. At first I thought that perhaps it was all a coincidence but Eden said that I used the right thing at just the right time. I was scheduled to have the fluid from the cyst extracted by a radiologist. At this time, I no longer feel that it will be necessary. Thank you Eden for your wisdom.
