“Truly a special, remote location that isn’t too far from the city. We rented the entire bunkhouse, but food and non-water drinks were not allowed anywhere in the bunkhouse. This made enjoying the bunkhouse’s common area kind of limited. At $39/bunk bed, with 20 beds in the bunkhouse, it was a rather expensive house! Especially when we couldn’t eat and drink there, and we had to take out our trash, do some light cleaning, and replace our bedding before we left. Still, the hostel is a nice local getaway, and I recommend everyone visit at least once/one night. There is no cell phone reception or WiFi.”

“The food was good. I was disappointed with my burger. I specifically told them well done and it was bloody as hell. Not cool. The fries were delicious. Very tasty and nice and golden. I loved them. The octopus salad my gf had loved it very much! She had never had it before and she loved her oysters which I thought were good as well. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. It was a very busy Sunday evening. The server was polite and professional. I observed it all. Other than that I had a good experience. Thank you.”

“A pretty place to visit. This property is part of the State Park system, and we were surprised to stumble on it. A former resort hotel, this property was reached by a small gauge railroad. Hiking trails with interpretive signage cris-cross the steeply inclining property. Great views of the bay below. Plenty of parking.”

“I used to have all types of fun at this place! Me and a few friends would rent the joint and then invite people for a barbecue donations optional. The barbecue would pay for the weekend stay. We would run folks off before the debauchery got out of hand, and there was always a few ladies who were buzzed and needed to stay, for their own safety. ???? I thought it was purchased by a private owner with intentions of calling it ????. ????????‍♂ I need to celebrate something so I have an excuse to return.”

“We sat outside because we had our dog. It looked cozy inside. My husband enjoyed his fish tacos. I had the Rueben and it was amazing It was the best I've ever had and I order this a lot. There was filling all the way to the edges and whatever they did to the bread was delicious. The waitress said they brine and smoke the meat. And it wasn't fatty either. A fun place to stop and friendly.”
