“I hiked this trail to the Pacific. It's a little over 8 miles round trip, so we took our time and did it in a little over 3.5 hours. There's about 1000 feet of elevation gain and loss, and there's no water along the way so be prepared. Trail is narrow and often blocked by down trees, so this is not a good option for children or the mobility impaired. Highlights are deep Forrest and wildlife and not seeing anyone else until the beach.”

Bryan was there, along with 3 other girls I had never seen before. I prefer someone making my drink I know, as opposed to someone I've never see. By the end of everything I was trying to do, I was so aggravated but Bryan was so patient in helping me. I wish there were more people like that out there...”

“Love this hike. Today it was nice and muddy and some of the streams we're flowing high. Just be careful crossing some of the more faster deeper streams after a long rain. Mount Burdell has many different paths to take and the views are always fun to check out. Multiple paths means different times to finish. This hike will not disappoint. Parts get a little slippery / Rocky. Keep Dogs on leash. Cattle are usually present. Every know and then you will see a snake.”
