Unfold Motherhood and Wellness

I’ve been practicing here for about six years and I love it! The studio offers a wide range of classes, and all of the teachers are encouraging and welcoming. The community at Unfold is wonderful—in addition to their regular yoga classes, they offer several workshops and special classes, so it’s easy to find classes that suit your individual needs. It’s a fabulous place to practice yoga!

I started going here for prenatal yoga when I was pregnant, then continued for Motherhood Circles and Baby Yoga. I love the community April has built here. The positive vibes and support made all the difference for me during the challenging days of early motherhood. I love all the resources April offers to support wellness such as the pelvic floor workshop, birth partner workshop, motherhood circles with licensed counselor, and postpartum workshops. My pregnancy and birthing experience as well as my postpartum experience were definitely better because of these workshops and resources. I am so grateful to have found Unfold Yoga! 💕

Unfold Yoga is great! I have been coming here for a year now. I came across Unfold when I was looking for postpartum/baby and me classes in the area. I loved the classes so much that when I felt strong enough in my body, I branched out to taking other classes provided at the studio which are of a pretty good variety. The instructors here are great and knowledgeable in their different areas of practice.

Also, I love attending the prenatal classes offered at Unfold. You do not find many yoga studios that offer so many prenatal classes throughout the week as you do at Unfold. Unfold also offers up workshops/classes surrounding prenatal and postpartum care which are great as well.

I have been going to Unfold for about 3 months now and I knew that I had found my place from the moment that I first walked in. The space is small and allows for a very personal class. The instructors are great and the classes are varied. There is a great variety and April the owner is always changing up the calendar to make it interesting. I would recommend this studio to anyone!

I practiced prenatal yoga with April prior to and after the opening of Unfold Yoga (in 2012) and she is absolutely the best! Very patient! She challenges you, but at the same time doesn't push you above your comfort level. Being part of prenatal yoga really made my pregnancy feel special. The labor process was a lot smoother than I anticipated because I incorporated a lot of the techniques I learned from yoga class. Unfortunately, I have moved out of the area, but if I were still living in California, I would have definitely, without a doubt, joined April's class for my current pregnancy.
