Dr. Sameh Mosaed, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Mosaed for quite a few years. Recently, in May 2020 I had to have emergency eye surgery In my left eye because the pressure in that eye was too high. Dr. Mosaed calmed my fears due to the pandemic and reassured me that by placing a tube shunt in my left eye, the device will help bring the eye pressure down from 24 where it was to a much lower level, between 10 and 12. At my last check up (early October 2020) it was 12! I expect the pressure to drop to 10 or below at my next visit. Dr. Mosaed is a highly qualified, knowledgeable eye surgeon who took the time to explain the procedure, the reasons for it, and showed a great deal of care and attention and reassured me throughout every step. I can highly recommend Dr. S. Mosaed.

I have been a patient of Dr Mosaeds for for over 17 years. She is a compassionate genius.If it weren't for her I would not be able to see. She has done numerous surgeries on me for glaucoma..all have turned out well.

As far as the long waits...It should tell everyone, she is willing to take her time with you, and the wait time is indicative of how busy she is.

Excellent doctor. Listens to the patient. Creative in her approach and open to ideas. The wait is always long but I come prepared. She spends as much time with you as is necessary. Highly recommend.

Excellent doctor with common sense which is not common at all. Very intelligent, a great communicator, and with approachable personality. UCI should be proud of having her.
