(February 18, 2016, 1:53 pm)The Island Wash has been in business for over 50 years. They have commercial grade machines for large items such as rugs. It's clean and well run, with soap and change machines. It's located across the street from the ONLY park on Balboa Island and just steps to the boardwalk and the ferry boat. You can relax in the park or on the beach, stroll the bay front or go for a boat ride while your laundry is getting done. It's also convenient for boaters, with a public dock just one block away.
