(August 28, 2018, 7:44 pm)It's a nice beach. Except for how steep the approach to the water is. That makes it hard to stroll along. The Junior Lifeguards were in action & that was VERY impressive to observe! The dedication & endurance those youngsters possess is beyond anything I have ever achieved. Of course, there's the fact that their parents are paying big bucks to have offspring in the program. But we'll be needing those lifeguards soon, all over the state.
It was a shore-break kind of day, so there were no surfers present.
(June 23, 2018, 10:21 am)We parked at the sand. We were able to go whale watching at Davey's Locker and still had time to go the beach after. The park is wonderful too. Bathrooms and showers are adjacent to the park. They have swings, monkey bars, some climbing and the regular play tower with a slide.
