“Direct walk way with key code access is only available to the residences of Cameo Shores community but you can still access this sandy beach area via a rocky shoreline walk from Little Corona Del Mar Beach passing the Arch Rock. Check online for low tide before coming out because during hide tide the area may be completely submerged.”

“This is my go-to lunch spot during Newport Beach and Orange County Restaurant Week for the last three years. I always get the Buffalo Cauliflower as a side. To me, everything else around it is a side. If this is your first time, I suggest starting with the pork. They do have a veggie option for those who don't want meat. During Restaurant Week, the meal costs $10. The entree comes with chips, one other side and a craft soda. They have outside and outside seating that is covered with heaters. Public restrooms are about 50 yards away. Parking is not a problem during a weekday lunch hour. You suppose to pay for parking, but I never have since the parking lot is wide open and I am guessing not patrolled since there is no one here during this time of day.”

“Hidden Gem! This is exactly what an older hotel should be - clean, refurbished, charming, and comfortable! Staff Ralph and Donna welcomed us like we were family, and made sure we knew where to find the beach stuff (towels, chairs, toys, ice) available for guests to use. The rooftop lounge is great! Tables, chairs, loungers, and unbeatable view. Ralph made sure that we knew we were welcome to take a bottle of wine up to enjoy the sunset and that our friends (residents we were there to visit) were welcome, too. We were also welcome to use the dining room when we ordered our pizza. Our friends will have their visiting family stay there. Location is terrific - one block from beautiful beach, with restaurants, park, and shopping nearby. Post-stay follow up was in the form of an email from the owner and a postcard from Donna.”
