Alohana Acai Bowls & Coffee / Capo Beach

So delish! Thank goodness they are in the neighborhood! This is Capo Beach comfort food at its best. Love the LOWERS bowl. No need to wonder if they remembered to add the PB! The vibe in the shop is so chill. This is a regular stop for us. Pick up a bowl and head to Pines Park to check out the waves. Bliss.

I had their employee favorites #1. The almond butter was a fantastic addition. My daughter had the pataya bowl and it was too sweet for me but that is just how pataya is.

The wave art on the wall was fascinating and their stickers are cool. I like that they offer water in reusable flasks.

Omyyyygggggeeeee this place is so yummy and sweet. For those of you looking for dog friendly spots to take your pup child out for a jaunt, this European style cafe sits in the middle of The Place To Be for local San Clemente dogs. They said that one German Shepherd nearly hits the ceiling, they are so excited to step inside. I'm dog-sitting and this guy is super particular about who he goes to visit. He heads right for this place each time we're near. And they give him love and treats and cool water on the porch.

Oh, I should mention the food hahaha, they had baked goods and handmade bowls and coffee. I decided on the Kombucha on tap and it was light and flavorful with just the right amount of tang.

Also when we were headed home I chatted with some folks who recognized the to go cup and mentioned how much they enjoy the coffee at Alohana. So next time they are going to try the Kombucha - and I will try the coffee - and Lenny can have just a spot more of whipped cream 😜

Awesome place, felt very welcoming and loved meeting Yolanda (the owner). Ask about the menu, there are fantastic stories behind a lot of the items. If you want some unique waffles, overnight oats, or a good coffee break you'll want to stop by. Enjoy!
