“Dr. Susan Ishioka, Dr. Pai's spouse, is the subject of this review. My daughters had been told by two other orthodontists that they needed braces. Just two days before they were to start at HD Orthodontics, I got an appt for a consult with Dr. Ishioka, lovingly called Dr. Susan. The clinic was spotless, spacious and welcoming. After the extra cautious cleaning procedures, Dr. Susan took time to look, really observe, my daughters' facial structure, teeth, alignment, and even how they swallowed. What deeply touched me, and my tear ducts, was how she told one that she had a beautiful smile, that people would die for that smile, that the alignment was zipper perfect, and that from the little time she knew her, that she was a kind, smart person. Covid has been hard on the teens and this was nectar for the heart. And get this... she does NOT need braces! She only needs to train herself to swallow with her tongue touching her upper palate instead of pushing against her front teeth (which causes a slight overbite). The 2nd teen had a similar affirming, empowering experience and only needs a top mouth guard (she's been teeth grinding) instead of braces! Pleasant surprises and stunning experiences. It's like going to an honest, skilled mechanic who affirms the beauty and functionality of your cars and says no work needed. She's a rare gem. Wish we could clone 1000's of Dr. Ishioka. Domo arigatou gozaimasu!”

“Dr. Haz is seriously the best dentist I have ever been to. She is extremely gentle and only cares about what's best for her patients. Her outgoing personality is so lovely you would not believe you are at a dentist office and maybe think you have been magically sent to a comedy club. Her prices are affordable and you know you will always be in good hands. I thought I needed a root canal on a badly chipped tooth and she saved it with a filling. “I fell off my bike and broke my two front teeth on a holiday weekend. Dr. Langstaff not only got back to me on a holiday, but opened his office early to accommodate me. ( I was in a wedding in a few short days ) I can't say enough nice things on how he literally saved me from giving a wedding toast without my two front teeth. He was so soothing and kind during a time when I was super panicked. He did an amazing job using bonding and they look almost 100% back to normal. If you come here you will not be dissapointed. “I took my mother-in-law to see Dr Wu, and he did a very good job on her, so I decided to give him a go as well. I should note here that I absolutely HATE going to the dentist. Initially I had a broken filling, and I'd left it so long the tooth was in a bad way, and it required a crown. It was more work than I expected, and one thing I appreciated was the Dr Wu took a lot of time to explain what was going on, why the treatment was needed, etc. I'm sometimes suspicious that dentists do more work than they really need to, just so they can make more money, but I've never gotten that impression from Dr Wu. After that tooth was taken care of, it turned out I also had some other fillings, and so I got those done too. I can't say I exactly enjoyed the experience (I hate dentists remember) but I can honestly say it wasn't actually that bad or painful. In other words, it was much better than I was afraid of, and didn't hurt or cause troubles. I'll certainly continue to use him for future dental work, and that's the best recommendation I can give! He's not exactly local to me, but I'm more than happy to drive the extra distance just to have a reasonable experience at the dentist!”
