“I know a lot of people are denta-phobes like me. I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist for any reason. I had to get a crown for the first time which, needless to say, was a little nerve wracking to say the least. Dr. Jordan was very good about communicating with me and making me feel as comfortable as possible. At one point, I needed more numbing, and he was more then happy to make sure I was comfortable. (Unfortunately, this has not always been my experience with dentists- sorry that my low pain threshold is an inconvenience for you????). Dr. Jordan worked efficiently, competently, and as gently as possible. I have always been sensitive/sore after even just a filling, but not the case from this trip. I’m very happy that we found this practice - I will prob always have some anxiety about the dentist, but now I will be able to move forward with a little less trepidation. Thanks Dr. Jordan!! PS. My wife and I have had good experiences with our cleanings as well;)”

“I have been going to Ladera Dentistry since 2015, it has continued to be a wonderful experience. Most recently during a cavity fill visit, I felt so relieved to have the team take care of me. When I was close to passing out, as I am nervous in doctors offices around needles, blood, etc. Dr. Mai and her dental assistant, Julio, were incredibly gentle and proactive during my visit. When I was receiving my shots of Novocain, Julio was extremely proactive in keeping me alert while I was recieving the shots. I have a phobia with sight of needles, so Julio and Dr. Mai gave me sunglasses and continued to talk me through the procedure. I was so comfortable throughout the entire visit and I am sincerely thankful for their proactive and professional effort to provide excellent dental services with an anxious patient! Thanks to Dr. Mai and Julio, I was able to complete all of my procedure without passing out or postponing my visit. :)”

“This is the absolute best place for your kids. We drive all the way from Long Beach just to have our three kids see Dr. Kevin and the staff Ladera Ranch Pediattic Dentistry. They are professional and the office is clean and set up in the most kid-friendly way with custom t.v.’s at each chair and a jungle forest-type decor. They give kids a coin to put in a toy vending machine after they’re done. The support staff is efficient and the front desk very helpful and accommodating. Dr. Kevin’s rapport with the kids puts them at ease and he’s probably the friendliest dentist you’ll interact with for you and your kids. 5 stars.”

“When I switched dentists due to my insurance change, I was almost scammed out of $1,500 because they told me that I needed to get 7 fillings and a new crown. Since Dr. Ed Samra was my dentist before I gave him a call to express my confusion and he told me to come for a free consultation. He explained that I did not need 7 fillings or a crown and even let me know that my insurance should cover white fillings (the other office was going to charge me - cash only). If it wasn't for Dr. Ed Samra, who is by far the most caring and ethical dentist I know, then who knows what might have been done to my teeth. Thanks Dr. Samra!”
