“There is so much to say about Patrick Cleveland that it is hard to figure out exactly where to start. So here's the back story: I started seeing Patrick in September of 2013 after moving back home and after three sudden deaths in my family. I had truly felt I was at my rock bottom--I was unhappy with myself, I felt lost in the new role I played being back at home, and unsure what my steps should be. “I have been seeing Dr. Sun for about a year now. I found her online when I was searching for an in-network doctor to help me with my chronic jaw pain and frequent migraines. I had already seen a couple of TMJ specialists but didn't get the relief I was looking for. One thing that immediately set Dr. Sun apart was amount of detail she looked into my medical history. She later devised a treatment plan to correct my jaw alignment through the use of 2 oral appliances (daytime and nighttime) which she fabricated. After staying committed to her regimen, my jaw feels much less tense and the frequency of headaches has diminished significantly. My monthly check-ups with her eventually incorporated dental cleanings too so that was a nice convenience of getting everything done in one office. If you are looking for a dentist to help with TMJ dysfunction and/or sleep apnea, I would highly recommend Dr. Sun. She is a perfectionist at heart and takes the time to offer her patients the best treatment possible. It's also reassuring to know that other doctors go to her.”

“Charles Crosson MD, Ophthalmologist as a consultant Ophthalmologist for CDCR. I rate ACS at 5 stars and CDCR as ranging from 2 at San Quentin and Sacramentoand only 1 clinic/week thank God.. I worked mostly at CMF & CSP Sol, usually 3 to 4 /clinics/per week total. I rate CMF support staff (LVNs inside exam rooms) at 4, occasionally 4+, and rarely very poo. CS{P support staff ranged from good to often very good, down to OK down to rarely poor.And all med employees/consultantmust obey all CDCR rules. all CME guidelines plus all staff MD requests and your recommendations are only that as only PCPs can write orders! I worked/contracted with ACS from ~2007 to March 15th, 2020. When I saw no masks on guards, on all inmates and Drs and Nurses so I quit that very morning. I didn't want to be a Covid vector to my family. Hopefully conditions have improved at all Calif prisons. ACS is currently growing in many other states. Calif Dept of Health Services and CDCR have a contract with Healthnet for the last 11 years and in my opinion health care onsite has limited down more and more, and despite large inmate population reducing every year the healthcare costs have doubled for state taxpayers. I came In for one treatment I had purchased off Groupon and ended up doing four other procedures...that all worked! Angela is incredibly warm and welcoming but more importantly she knows her stuff. She is equally as educated on what they do and offer as the doctors and nurses are that do the procedures. I might as well consider NexMed a second home bc I’m there 1-2x a week and they bend over backwards to accommodate my crazy schedule. I highly recommend this place!”

“Dr. Judy Rotuna is a great chiropractor. She totally knows her stuff, explains it throughly, and makes you feel better. Dr. Mortensen is only there one day a week, so I’ve only seen him once, but he did a fine job. The office did X-rays on my first visit and treated me accordingly, but Dr. Judy always went above and beyond. She really takes her time to adjust you, and tells you exactly which bones she’s adjusting when she does. She and I did not really get along, and would blame issues on things without solid reason, which is why I’ve docked a star. She comes off a little strong, and isn’t the best at interpersonal communication. I’m 25 and have had type one diabetes since I was 12, but it’s very well controlled and I have no signs of any complications from it at this point. Yet Dr. Judy blamed the over-active nerves in my shoulders on diabetic neuropathy. How could I have neuropathy in my shoulders if I don’t even have it in my feet? Other doctors have debunked this. I also went through an intensive pain management program, and had to stop care for a month. The program wanted to eliminate other factors affecting my care to pinpoint what things were making a difference. Dr. Judy immediately jumped to conclusions, saying medical doctors don’t understand chiropractic, and wouldn’t get the benefits it could bring. She wouldn’t even let me explain that chiropractic was one of the treatments they were suggesting, but wanted to work their way there first— control all the variables as I worked through the program. Despite our interpersonal issues, Dr. Judy really is a great chiropractor, and the office staff is great, too.”
