Drive-thru customers end up parking in front on the wrong side of the street. I even had a dine-in customer give me ugly looks for blocking the street in front when they wanted to cross. There must be a better solution.”

The renovation a few years ago made it much nicer, and the greenhouse/patio is a great spot if you don't like the dim main area. That said, have yet to try the full menu since event menus are, by necessity, somewhat limited... so will have to report back later on the full menu. Also the bar on the side appears to be a solid use of the space, a little crowded but that's how bars should feel, at least in this kind of place!”

“This is my go-to lunch spot during Newport Beach and Orange County Restaurant Week for the last three years. I always get the Buffalo Cauliflower as a side. To me, everything else around it is a side. If this is your first time, I suggest starting with the pork. They do have a veggie option for those who don't want meat. During Restaurant Week, the meal costs $10. The entree comes with chips, one other side and a craft soda. They have outside and outside seating that is covered with heaters. Public restrooms are about 50 yards away. Parking is not a problem during a weekday lunch hour. You suppose to pay for parking, but I never have since the parking lot is wide open and I am guessing not patrolled since there is no one here during this time of day.”

We had two specials, one with shredded lamb and beef and one chicken piccata (which had a Mediterranean sauce).
