If you are reading this review, you may have a child, which is at the facility, or may end up at the facility… And if this is your first experience with an inpatient psych hold, please allow me to share my unfortunate years of experience. First, I’m sorry that you are in the situation that you are, and I understand how painful it is. While I have had the extreme misfortune of having multiple incidents, where a family member was under a psych hold, I can tell you that Aliso Ridge is one of the best in the county. When you call, they answer the phone very promptly. If you ask to speak to your child, they will connect you, or have your child call you back right away. The therapeutic staff is knowledgeable, compassionate, understanding, and very very well trained. The facility is very clean, well run, and accommodating for kids of any background, gender, etc. If it wasn’t for the staff at Aliso Ridge , I don’t know what would have become of my kiddo after discharge. No matter how bleak things seem right now, there is always a chance that they can improve. Aliso Ridge is one of the few places that I can honestly say moved my kid in a positive direction for once. Mary Fisher, Wesley, Dr. Yousefi… all the nurses and staff … thank you. You are miracle workers.”

“Dr. Yap is truly one of a kind. I called at least eight different GI offices to schedule an appointment for an urgent problem my dad was having. All of them were booked out 2-3 months. Dr. Yap personally texted me to promptly set up an appointment and even pre-booked an endoscopy and colonoscopy. My dad was very pleased by his bedside manner and compassion. I texted Dr. Yap at 10:30 pm on a Thursday night to get biopsy results, and to my surprise, he texted me screenshots of chart notes and biopsy results right away. I have never known a doctor to act that promptly with patient messages. I have found my family's GI doctor for life. We will never see anyone else.”

“I was so impressed with amount of time and attention to detail Mark (The audiologist) took with my mom. My mom already had a pair of hearing aids but she hasn't been a good patient and did not use them. So they broke while they were sitting in her drawer. After trying all different methods to fix them for about half an hour, he finally found a way to make it work! Mark was very upfront with the cost before proceeding. After everything was said and done, it was $50 (repair + testing her hearing and putting in the new program.). His honesty and patience towards my elderly mother was what made me want to write a review for his business. Thank you, Mark! Update: My mom says she has been wearing her hearing aids daily because after the reprogramming, she said the frequency is much more comfortable.”

“The Santa Ana River Trail mile marker sixteen is a point to remember! With the Steve Ambriz Memorial Park just a block away, it’s a back way spot into the park on foot or by bike, as well as a passage point of reference from the park and homes of the Riverbend Community, via the paths and trails. The Google Maps satellite view shows the paved park path extended past the gate and to mile marker 16. From the bike trail, the spot can be found by the spillway step along the Santa Ana River, just south of the Glassell Street bridge. It’s also next to the massive dirt mound at the RJ Noble Company, a bit north of the Lincoln Blvd Bridge. It’s always nice to stop off here and enjoy the views! The natural landscape is accentuated by the mountain views to the north. I like to see the Santa Ana River beside the trail after a storm, as the downhill water can actually form a rapids! Photo’s posted were taken safely, just before the rains, as the conditions may cause closures! While the bike path marker does little else than mark the spot, I wish there were more of a reference to the park nearby. I know as a bike rider, runner and hiker, it’s always nice to find public places to take a break, off the beaten path!”
