We were fortunate to find Agape Villa. The personal setting with friendly interaction in an attentive environment were what my father needed. Each care giver brought their own personality while sharing common traits of being gentle, attentive, caring and respectful. We appreciated their sunny nature displayed whenever appropriate. When comparing options in home settings, check staffing levels. Agape Villa has two care-givers always on site during the day, a dedicated awake night time care-giver, and other personnel who came to check on us from time to time as needed. Some other home setting companies skimp on staffing.”

Their staff is responsive, thorough and professional. Most recently, Dr. Robertson repaired an inguinal hernia for me at Mercy Hospital of Folsom. The repair was done via minimally invasive, robotic-assisted laparoscopy and I couldn't be more pleased. I have three small incisions in my abdomen and experienced no pain, just discomfort and soreness (as to be expected). They seem to genuinely want me to succeed and tend to have more humanity then any doctors I've worked with before. Most doctors talk to me for five seconds, call it a day and just decide what I have. And these guys just don't do that. They have full on conversation and they are so wonderful to work with. Normally I dread going to, or being on the phone with doctors cus I've had so many bad experiences. But they are so patient and kind and understanding of my mental illness. I went to the woman's group counseling sessions 4 days a week, for over a year and graduated. I also did private counseling sessions with Charlene Hayes. She was an amazing counselor for me. It was an extraordinary experience all around, and changed me and my life. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable in women's life issues, dealing with childhood trama and abuse, sexual abuse, addictions of every kind, also mental disorders such as bipolar disorder, personality disorsers, depression, anxiety, etc. I learned who I am and how to cope with pain and emotional situations without wanting to kill myself. They gave me tools and knowledge of ways to accept myself, my feelings, and my life, for the good and the bad. They saved my LIFE! They also provided transportation for my son and myself as well as child care with Tammy.”
