Is this why my ski lost its top speed? Pics of pump included
Had a 550sx impeller unscrew itself. Initial hesitation and noise to shut off was maybe 10-15 seconds... and it ate a chunk out of the walls of the pump... had a lot of pressure forcing the drive shaft forward and onto the motor. Impros fixed the impeller, and a new pump had to be sourced... It can happen... and it sucks.
