Tina is a very patient and responsible person. Several months ago, my son knew nothing about piano. However, after several months of learning with Tina, I am so surprised that my son was able to finish a wonderful performance which showed he has such great improvement! I feel so lucky that we found her to be my sons’s piano teacher! Tina is the best teacher ever!
Tina has done a fantastic job of keeping my son interested. She customizes the music to fit his ability and help him progress without getting bored. And she’s very flexible if we need to come on a day he’s not regularly scheduled.
Tina is an amazing teacher. She is very patient and kind. She really takes her time to make sure you understand the concepts and goes beyond of what books can teach you. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a great teacher. Her rate is also extremely reasonable.
My daughter has been learning from her for almost a year and she has learned so much! Tina tailors her lessons to each child's skill level and helps them to learn at their own pace. I love that she teaches both music theory and techniques. My 6-year old can play major/minor scales and read music! I highly recommend her!
I have 2 daughters taking lessons with Tina. My 11 year old has taken lessons for 5 years. The first 4 years were with another teacher who wasn't teaching her to read music...only memorize songs. We began lessons with Tina just under a year ago and my daughter has made incredible progress. She is now able to read the music which allows her to pick up any piece of music (at her level) and start playing. She is also playing much nicer classical pieces. As a result, her confidence is growing. She enjoys playing because she understands how to read the music. My 8 year old just started lessons late last year. She is already reading music. She loves Ms. Tina and is always excited for her lesson. She loves to practice at home because she completely understands how to play the songs and assignments she is given. I highly recommend Tina for piano lessons. She is by far the best teacher we've had (we've had 2 before her). She is kind and able to read each child's personality so she relates to them individually. She expects a lot from her students but she also gives them a lot. She once said to me, "a lot of people can play the piano but not everyone can teach piano". She can absolutely teach piano, and she plays beautifully.
