“A fantastic class. It's inside the UCR rec center, but you don't have to be a student to train there. I was originally looking for a jiu jitsu school, but most of those schools are quite expensive. After doing my own research, I come to find out that modern day jiu jitsu comes from Judo, and Judo students practice not only the ground work, but the stand up as well (throws, sweeps, etc.). I figured, why not learn both? I found out this dojo cost less than $85 a quarter (about three months) compared to $120 or more, a month, for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I was sold. The facility is clean. The fellow students are nice. Most important of all, the instructors are top notch. The main sensei is a former alternate for Japan's Olympic team! That is as high level as it gets. He's also a smaller gentleman, so his technique is perfect (bigger instructors tend to rely more on power). If you're curious, do yourself a favor and sign up for a quarter. It's so affordable, and definitely worth a try.”

“The doctor's are great and patient. The front desk staff can be direct but they make sure everything runs by smoothly. I have had a great experience with Heather Ontiveros. She has been very helpful and helped with some minor sport injuries and offered exercises and stretches. She gave sounds advice and didn't force me on medication which is what I liked. Its affordable reasonable health center that does well with its limited resources it is given. I would reccomend this location to everyone and to UCR students.”

“Honestly this place is killing it. Now here is an honest review since I been coming here for 6 months now. The coaches are great and friendly The workouts are always different everyday and maybe the reason why I am committed to this box. Bootcamp x2 times a week and the rest are strength training days during the week. Open Saturday's in the a.m and closed during most major holidays! Classes are a not huge and groups here are friendly. If you are looking to build endurance, shed some weight and build some muscles than you might want to give this place a chance!”
