Sherman Island County Park

Found a very isolated area. Grandbaby n my children got to run around, the water temperature was just right. Kept them very cool down in this crazy triple digit hot weather.

Small park with some beach access. There usually is a lot of large log and branch debris all over the beach though. It gets very windy here so not an ideal place for a picnic. The park hosts are very welcoming. Overall a very clean, well maintained park but some large debris on the beach.

Great place to take the family to go swimming on the little beach in the cove. I like to bring my canoe here when it is calm. If it is windy be prepared for a bunch of windsurfers because this is a prime location for this sport.

I love practicing windsurfing here. The park is always clean well maintained.
