“I had an excellent homebirth experience with Taproot Midwifery. My initial interview and first few months of care were with Stephanie, covering for the owner, Tel, during their parental leave. All my questions and concerns about having a homebirth were addressed and answered. I knew what to expect throughout my pregnancy as well as financially. Tel is an excellent judge of character because I liked everyone involved with my pregnancy and birthing experience. As my pregnancy progressed, I became more comfortable and excited with my choice to have my baby at home. Tel has an excellent bedside manner, and I always felt my mental and physical well-being were prioritized throughout my care. They let me know what to expect as we approached my delivery date and let me borrow books, and recommended additional resources to check out online. When I went past my due date, Tel checked up on me regularly and gave me many recommendations to help encourage labor. Had I not had such an attentive midwife, I would have ended up in the hospital with an induction. My baby decided to make her appearance the day before my 42-week mark. Tel had been checking in with me daily for more than a week and was ready to head to my house when the time came. Tel brought along two assistants, RN, Maggie, and student midwife, Joy, who were kind and personable and helped make my experience more comfortable. This was my first baby, and she was in a less than ideal position, so it took a few hours of pushing; I was glad to have skilled midwives because we went through many birthing positions and techniques to get this baby out. I finally pushed her out, two hours before midnight! I didn't feel worried or scared throughout the experience, aside from desperately not wanting to go to the hospital. Once the baby was here, everyone took terrific care of us and stuck around to monitor and clean up for a few hours. They left my house the way they found it, even at the late hours of the night. Postnatal care was terrific as well. Both baby and I were cared for, and they ensured we were in tip-top condition for the six weeks following our birthing experience. Tel regularly checked in with me regarding my mental health to ensure I was not experiencing postpartum depression. They also answered questions and provided tips on breastfeeding as it took a little time to get my milk going. I'm so glad I found Tel and their incredible team. They are one of the most compassionate people I've met, incredibly easy to talk to, and so good with my baby; it was a pleasure being their client. Thank you, Tel, Stephanie, Joy, and Maggie, for your outstanding care and for providing me with a fantastic experience I will always hold close to my heart. I'm so in love with my daughter and feel so fortunate I could have her at home. I truly appreciate all of you!”

“So I joined last month and did the six week challenge. Everyone at the gym is extremely friendly, and all the coaches will say "hi" the moment you step through the door. Very welcoming. Workouts are varied, so I have never been bored. You typically work up to around 30 minutes of exercise with short breaks built in. The time actually goes by very quick! I was able to compete the 6 weeks and met my goal. Coaches helped me stay motivated. Their protein shake powder is the best I tried, no joke. There is no chalky or powdery taste. The chocolate peanutbutter tastes way better than chocolate milk. All the members I have been are also very friendly. Highly recommend!”

“Thanks Paul!! Another great experience at Big O in Boulder Boulder. I get my all-season tires swapped with snow tires twice a year and have never had issues with service or prices. Service is fast and the entire crew is friendly and professional. Never any up-selling—just the facts and honest options. I recently went in to swap my snow tires and they checked my breaks (standard process) I was told that the front has reached recommended limit but the rears were still good for a while.. it would have been easy to simply recommend that I get all four replaced but honesty seemed the priority and so I just replaced the front so I could spread out the cost (still reasonable and competitive!). I have also never had issues leaving valuables in the car. Big O has my business for life! Thanks Paul and team!”
