“Awesome place to come for a margarita and appetizer. This is just what I wanted on this Sunday afternoon. Since it was middle of the afternoon, there was no wait whatsoever….we were seated promptly by the waiter and quickly given some water. We ordered house margaritas on the rocks with salt and these were made excellently! We also ordered some chips and salsa which came with some kind of side of cabbage slaw which sounds kind of odd but if you add a bit of the salsa to it, it totally works! Just trust them and try it…that’s all I can say. We also shared a chicken quesadilla which came with a generous heap of guac and sour cream. Chicken was shredded and moist and it was cooked to a perfect crisp. Oh and it also included a side of their delicious warm green salsa, perfect for dunking your quesadilla in. Easy in and out and my thirst and belly were happy! Great local go to Mexican place!”

See the nice pics Below is my review from 7 months ago and this is simply a positive update declaring that my grievance has emotionally expired and been replaced with happiness. 5 stars was always the rating. I get that life is a grind, but today i left without drinking my coffee (pour-over) that i paid for. This just made it more difficult to grind the rest of my daily life i had left this Friday. I didn't expect to sit at the table while my coffee sat in the pour-over contraption forgotten. When it was made apparent that i had been forgotten, instead of even checking if my coffee had gotten cold it was quickly poured into a paper to-go-cup although i ordered it "for here". I had hoped to sit and enjoy my cups of coffee in a ceramic cup as it should be. I returned the paper cup full of untouched coffee. When i said that I didn't want it, no-one asked why, offered a refund or a correction. The thing that really grinds me is that I regularly tip 20%. This lack of service was not prompt nor correct. I am owed a large pour-over that i can drink from a civilized ceramic cup. Until atonement had been made, tips will be reduced to 1% .”

“We bought a 70+ year old house in Sacramento as a second home, knowing we'd need to replace the roof eventually. Not living full-time in area created a lot of challenges in maintaining the property. Of course, shortly after purchase the roof began to leak creating the need for urgent action. It was very difficult to assess quality of work, timeliness, etc by talking to roofing contractors over the phone. So, my cousin (lives in Sacramento and has a lot of experience in the building industry) strongly recommended I call Lucero's roofing and he gave them a resounding endorsement. From the moment I spoke with Eric Lucero, it was clear he was a true professional, cared about his work and was deeply committed to the Sacramento community. He was very direct about my options and the challenges that I faced. I really appreciated that. Eric and team worked around my availability, answered my questions and executed flawlessly. They were able to tear-off, replace dry rot and install a high quality roofing materials for both the sloped shingle area and the flat roof over the patio. Even better, they went above and beyond to address issues flagged by the inspector which were not even related to the roof!! “We ate at the Mexican next door one night and saw this place on leaving. De ided to come back the next night andgive it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised as they had beef with black bean sauce on the menu. I got the spring rolls and my gasoline beef and I was not let down. Just the right Moint of black bean and ginger made my night. The food was hot and very tasty. They have a limited beer menu, but you Can eat in and it's way worth it. The service was great and the server very polite. You will hear some arguing in the kitchen in Chinese, but that's all part of the ambience here.”

“Lived here for 6 months in 2015 until rent raised from $1,200 to $2,100 for a two bed. Other than the rent increase its a great place to live if you can afford it. Dual master bedrooms, next to the freeway and a huge park. The pool area also has a spa, but no gym. All pets are welcome, and the management is great”
