Had a lot of fun as my first time here, everyone minded their own or was friendly. Live music was an unexpected but great addition, they were great. The food was amazing, we got the BBQ sampler plus I think, and love it. We were playing cards and a nice gentleman came over and started talking to us, turns out he is the owner, very nice and fun to talk to. I liked that he came over and was talking with everyone as well as enjoying the atmosphere he created/helped create. We will definitely be coming back! P.S. there were also vendors outside selling their items which was cool, and fresh local honey that I couldn't pass up, absolutely delicious!
This serves as a great local place for its excellent smoked meats but being that it's in the middle of nowhere, the other market it caters to would be tourists that pass through and that part is hard to miss. With its changing mash display of monsters, clowns, cars, stickers, and memorabilia ranging from Kobe/Jordan posters to classic car and Led Zeppelin original posters, the tasty smoked meats come as a one two combo type surprise. Being that it's on an alternate route to Vegas, I assume they get plenty of tourists stopping in from all walks of life but don't be fooled, this is a top notch smoked meats roadkill BBQ spot. Food is very tasty and portions are big.
Oh, was I happy to see them open for breakfast. We have passed by many times, but never had time to stop, so this was my first time eating here. Had a simple and tasty egg and cheese breakfast burrito with salsa and an excellent cup of coffee, which was enjoyed outside in the setting of their eclectic patio. Good comfort food, nice folks and excellent service. A welcome respite before a long drive across the Mojave. Five stars for all of the above accomplished in a relatively remote location.
One of the coolest spots to have a beer and a burger. They have some of the best BBQ anywhere.
The owners are the nicest and most accommodating people u will ever meet.
We ride out there alot and always have a good time....
Don't sleep on this place!!
Wow. Maybe it was just that I was super hungry after some climbing in Joshua Tree, but I was served hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. Restaurant itself is small but charming. Has a sort of Americana & anti-establishment undertone to it which is cool.
Staff were also incredibly friendly. Overall definitely worth a stop & I believe this is even a place I’ll go a little out of my way to visit in the future. I believe they also have live music occasionally which I’m sure would be a lot of fun.
