Hangar 18 Indoor Climbing Gym - Upland

Very wonderful setting (you can see this from their IG). I enjoyed the fact that they rewarded climbers who could send a weekly problem they set up. I came here twice and I didn't lead, I only boulder and top roped, but the "chimney" lead they had was very beautiful and promising. Reasonable price and friendly staff. Has weights as well. I would climb here if I lived nearby. This is probably my favorite gym.

So I needed to get more activity in my life, and the gym was getting kind of boring so I decided to check this place out. Hangar 18 is great. For people that are new to climbing, they offer classes and safety training so you can enjoy the climbing gym on your first day. Ryan, our climbing instructor was awesome! All the staff was pretty helpful. Had a great time!

In town for a little and decided to stop by. Good climbing with challenging routes quite different from my home gym but there’s something to be desired. Holds look pretty old and faded which makes it kinda hard to tell routes apart. First rental shoes they gave me had a ripped toe and the second pair was very smooth. Weirdest part was that they don’t rent chalk?

Popular place to do some auto-belay and boldering. All different level paths to attempt to have fun or truly push yourself.

Miller gave the best intro to belay ever!!! Mostly needed a refresher so it was perfect. Greatest staff, rad sets, and overall awesome community to be a part of! Memberships are SO worth it.
