Moved here over ten years ago. We may have overpaid for our (new at the time) dwelling during the peak of the housing market in 2006, but don't regret moving here. We've had a few nuisance neighbors over the years, but they've all been weeded out by park management. We live in a mostly quiet park, no crime, no deadbeats, beautiful sunsets and a cold pool during the summer. This community is located on the fringe of civilization, just far enough east to be tranquil (aside from the occasional fire truck), but located within a quick distance to the freeway. I commute to national city daily and it's only thirty or so minutes. Space rent is reasonable, park management isn't always riding you, you have annual inspections and get occasional notices for weeds or random things they frown upon being stored in your carport, but overall way better than any apartment living. There's just enough guest parking for friends to come over and we plan to be here until we can afford a home on private property. If you're looking to live in a manufactured home, I would recommend this park.
