“I went to Dr. Oh after 2 years of dealing with multiple autoimmune and connective tissue diseases. An onslaught of rare and odd conditions after a lifetime of good health. During my initial visit with Dr. Oh, she identified and came up with a treatment plan to address the neurological and muscular pain that I was having. I must say that after my second visit yesterday, with some new treatment, I am shocked at how much better I feel this morning. I only wish that I had gone to see Dr. Oh sooner. Dr. Irene Oh is an excellent listener, thorough in her evaluation, efficient, whip smart, and compassionate. She sees you as a person and gives you her full attention at each appointment. “I went to Palomar Hospital because I stopped taking my medications for depression cold turkey. That's a mistake I cannot make anymore, as it spirals into uncertainty and triggers anxiety. Palomar's BHU (Behavioral Health Unit) has the BEST STAFF EVER, except for Marcie, who is an arrogant and indolent (four letter word that is not nice) who seems to be there only for the paycheck.”

“I presented to the Emergency Department with blunt force trauma. Every person in the organization with whom I came in contact, was respectful, cheerful, competent, and caring. Dr. Stephen A. Dunphy established rapport quickly, was quick in his assessment though not rushed, has a wonderful sense of humor which he uses to good advantage, and is excellent in maintaining communication with his patients. The nurses were just as attentive and caring as was the lady who "drove" my wheelchair while I was there. I have no reservation or hesitation in recommending your services to anyone in need. I found the facility to be spotless, well lighted, quiet, and calming in design. My thanks to each of the staff members who contributed to the continuum of care I received while there. In my time as a Police Sergeant, I have seen Emergency Rooms which can only be described as chaotic and hellish. Palomar had none of that at all. For people who work in emergent circumstances, they are all amazingly calm, cheerful, and attentive, all while wasting no time.”
