Great place 8 courts. Free in Sunday. Regulars were very nice. Took the time to explain how the nuances of the game, whose up next etc
Great place to play Pickleball. 8 Brand new courts. Usually morning play not much in the afternoon. Free play after 2 p.m. everyday

Everybody seems to be very friendly I've been there several times and enjoyed myself each time I played.
they charge $4 for drop-in, a lot of people start at 8 in the morning and play usually starts winding down between 11:30 and 12

I never played pickleball but they have a great, mellow, half-court basketball pick up game from 12-2 on Wed and Fridays. Three bucks-- all ages (including older folks), with a little competition but not too serious. Three things that make the game interesting-- all one pointers, if you call travel and its disputed, offense keeps the ball (avoids arguments), and if someone falls, typically they stop playing-- a gentlemen's (and ladies) game.
The Melba Bishop recreation center in Oceanside ca. is a Beautiful facility, with professional staff, excellent programs, and a warm family atmosphere. I often recommend this particular facility to families and friends. I give The Melba Bishop Recreation Center Five Stars in my book.
