“I’d recommend making a reservation in advance on open table. The menu had changed quite a bit since I was last here. The risotto was the best part of the meal. I wasn’t too keen on the lamb sauces/flavoring. The steak frites was nicely executed. The hacienda drink was delicious. The snickerdoodle cookie was delicious and great end to my meal. Complimentary valet parking.”

“My sister and I have been to Rancho Valencia a handful of times. Our mom is who introduced us to this fantastic place. This time was exceptional. There was a storm that hit and it made everything so magical! While my sister and I were swimming in the saline pool the rain started coming down, the drops were so large, and it was so gorgeous! Spending time with my sister is very important to me and to be able to do it in such a peaceful and healing environment was such a gift. The staff is wonderful, polite, accommodating, and very thoughtful. The massage I received was very nice and healing”

“The Villas at Rancho Valencia are very spacious and comfortable. The entire resort has top notch service and great amenities. The Villas have their own dedicated pool area and clubhouse (separate from the main resort pool or the spa pool, which Villa guests can also use). Great for families or slightly larger groups as the Villas are 3 bedroom and 3.5 bathroom each. Nice, functional kitchens. Great BBQs on the back patio along with in-ground hot tubs. Everyone is so friendly and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Definitely a top notch experience. We were staying at a fancy hotel in downtown San Diego and felt it was lacking in a handful of ways. We decided to try the Villas at Rancho Valencia and are so glad we did. Have been multiple times since and are always excited to return! We don’t even considering looking or staying elsewhere.”
