(May 25, 2019, 1:28 am)Wow what a great bunch of guys there at Cal Coast Bikes!!!! I live out of state and tried to buy a Ibis Ripmo XTR build. Local shop was not very helpful to say the least. I called Ibis to see if I could order direct they referred me to Cal Coast and I'm sure glad they did. These guys are true professionals and enthusiasts. Built my Ripmo very fast with lots of custom touches and lots of communication along the way. I will certainly do business with them again.

(April 19, 2019, 3:47 pm)This bike shops easy to pass up doesn’t have the most convenient parking depending on the direction you’re coming from but it’s well worth the trip around the block to try again because the staff there are very patient very knowledgeable. The prices are consistent they do have some really good sales sometimes I noticed they started caring Yuba cargo bicycles which are great for families go in there with a smile they’ll return the favor.
(April 6, 2019, 8:00 pm)This is the premier San Diego bike shop for mountain bikes. Staff is friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. They're the kind of folks that remember you by name and will give you recommendations on where to ride. I bought a bike here and take advantage of their expert level tune ups and maintenance whenever it needs work. They rent top notch bikes at fair rates too, so get out there and see the super bloom.
(March 3, 2019, 5:41 pm)Cal Coast is the best bike shop in all of San Diego. Crew is very helpful, good prices, and overall good selection, if you like high end stuff. Definitely a go to.
(February 7, 2019, 12:02 pm)I had a problem with a broken quick release bracket for a Giant Surelock Flex combo cable lock we bought here around 12 months ago. I couldn't find a way to get a replacement bracket online so I visited the bike shop a couple of days ago to see if they could get one for me. You know they didn't ask for a receipt and I no longer had it anyway but the guy found a bracket and gave it to me for free. I really appreciate the extra effort the guy put in to help me. This business has a heart because it has great staff. Thank you !
