  It's a total of 5 miles around the lake, good and safe for running, walking, and biking. It has plenty of picnic places to have a relaxing weekend to be with family and friends. But most of all,.It's easy to get to and its "Free".

  The lake has a nice paved 5 mile loop road around, 2 parking lots and clean restrooms.
  Great for picnics and family gatherings, kids would enjoy the area a lot.
  The paved trail is good for bicycles, strollers, roller blades, jogging and walking around the lake.

  Wonderful place for family picnics or barbeque. Come here to feed ducks and swans or enjoy the sunset or jog along the trail. Boating options available.

  This is a great place to run if you're training. It's a 5 mile loop which gives you the option to go further if desired. Normally the lake is cooler in parts even when San Diego heats up. It has some hills which is great for training. It's a beautiful area with great views. There are some picnic tables around so it's also a nice place to park and have a picnic.

  This is a really great place to walk, ride your bike, have a picnic or go fishing with the kids. Very beautiful here. Large parking lots. Very clean bathrooms. Enjoyed walking my dogs here and the beautiful views of the lake.
