In fact, during the check-in, the staff was very kind and professional. We got a very nice and quiet room, which faced the central yard....( the facility is beautiful). In addition, we got some extra attention by the hotel and its staff. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant.”

“Very nice resort place, but Adobe was not open at 12:30pm when we came, so they told us to go to Mustang and Burros', which had a good octopus and crab dish, so we were happy. I was told that Adobe had the best margaritas in San Diego, and since I could not try one there, we had a margarita from Mustang and Burros' which was okay, not great, but the bartender admitted that he had not worked bar for a few months so he was rusty. This is a resort place so, honestly, don't bother unless you have a room at the resort... Estancia's resort, I believe.”

“What a surprise! We went on Saturday after hiking in Torrey Pines! Searched online for a great lunch place and decided to go there. We did not know it’s a Gliderport for all things flying. There were parasailers doing flights while we watched at lunch. There were also RC airplanes flying all over. It was an amazing experience! Food was great and inexpensive! What a terrific time and so glad we went. Free parking and great menu!”

“A local from LA here but definitely prefer the beaches of SD. In my opinion La Jolla has the most beautiful beaches and Blacks Beach was a place we hadn’t visit yet. Definitely bring hiking shoes for the climb down and track at your own pace. Better to be safe than sorry. Once you’re down find a sweet spot and relax. Sand is perfect and waves are beautiful. Optional clothing so account for that.”

“Should probably avoid if you’re looking for an easy hike, afraid of heights or hiking with kids. Thrilling hike! Starts off with a rocky, slippery downhill hike. There’s a plank you need to walk on, some rock formations you have to squeeze through, some narrow ledges and a rope to use to get to the beach at the end of the trail. Very exciting and fun hike if you’re looking for and adventurous hike to the beach!”
