One Nine Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy - La Costa

One Nine is an essential part of my routine now. They took me in broken and beaten. Christmas morning 2022 I was taken off the slopes in a basket with IT band syndrome. Just one month of working with Jeff/Hailey I was riding better than I ever have. I’m 61 and my sports are surfing/snowboarding and golf. I do not want to stop and One Nine is helping me with that goal! It’s never too late.
I’ve used them both for PT and personal training. My daughter pestered me for years to start training. This has been by far one of the best life choices I’ve ever made.

Best physical therapy and high performance training you can ask for. Everyone who works at One Nine always has such great energy and it creates a really fun atmosphere. They helped me recovery from a dislocated kneecap and got me in peak shape to play D1 tennis at the University of Oregon. One Nine is the best!!

Dave is amazing! I’m a fitness professional with a corrective exercise background and I was stumped about why I kept getting injured. Dave spotted everything and got me stable and stronger in a matter of a couple months. I have so much gratitude for this place! If you want a knowledgeable PT who has a stellar eye for imbalances, Dave’s your guy. Everyone who works here is great, too. Just a bunch of good, down to earth people.

I had two surgeries to reconstruct and repair my ACL and meniscus. From day one, One Nine was clear with me what the road to recovery looked like, the milestones I had to hit and how much work was required from myself to get me back to being an athlete.

I’m a 28 y/o professional and former college athlete and my time with One Nine, and Travis Hutchinson specifically, has been the highest standard of care I have received thus far. Travis is hands on with his approach to recovery and after working with him for almost a year now I can tell that each session is customized and catered to the athlete’s needs. He knows when to push and he knows when to back off but what separates him from others is that he knows how to make progress for every individual he works with.

The rest of the team is a treat to be around as well. Everyone holds themselves to a high standard while fostering a fun environment to get better and improve. That is what makes One Nine unique.

I hope I never get hurt again, but if I do I know the first place I’m going to for my recovery.

I went to One Nine to see Travis last year for my knee that had been dislocated 3 times. I was set up with physical therapy appointments right away. We worked on stability exercises, it's been a year since ending physical therapy and my knee hasn't dislocated.
