“This place is amazing. Had the fish tacos and shrimp tacos both were deep fried and delicious. Hubby had the aguachile bontanas and it was so fresh and filling. Fresh made tortillas for the tacos and tostadas. Also had the clamato which quenched my thirst. I was also completely endeared to the fact that it was an elderly gentleman cooking and seemed to have a speech impediment. The time it took to cook the food was well worth the wait”

“Down home cooking and service! As soon as you enter Felix's you are greeted with a Hello and Menu's if you are eating in. I had a Sweet tea and cornbread on the table in about 5 minutes after I was seated. The two lady's served us and made sure we had enough to eat and drink. We had Pulled pork , Chicken and Beef sandwiches that looked like dinner portions. Very generous on the food and it came out nice and hot. Well Done!”

“Located right off of South Santa Fe in San Marcos, CA. Nice amount of parking during business hours. Nice, large blue sign, you will see it. I love the feel of this tasting room. It has a classic feel with a modern twist. The beer is awesome. They have lagers, browns, a red and IPAs. Their "Road Runner" IPA is a nice west coast style IPA and is sure to please the IPA drinker in you or your group. My favorite beer at this location was the Kveik Brown, you just got to try it. Edit: Their flagship IPA is now "Electric Blues" and even better than the original. Can't wait to see how this brewery keeps developing.”

That plate of potatoes is just a side came with the omelette. Also that big bowl of soup was supposed to be a cup of soup came with my burger!!! I like the chili-size burger a lot. It looked weird （to me 😆) but tasted really good. Omelette was kind of so so. Next time we will try something different!”

The perfectly prepared rib eye for him, the newly added Chilean Sea Bass for me. Both dishes were delicious and the spicy broccoli, creamy potatoes and the crab cake starter were just scrumptious. It was so damn good, forgot to take the pic! UPDATE** Took my boyfriend here and we shared the Cali burrito. We asked for it cut in half and they even separated then in different wrappers! “Seemed to be authentic Oaxaquenian food. I had a one-meat Tlayuda, like a huge tostada of refried beans, shredded lettuce, lots of shredded Quesilla cheese and a bit of guacamole. Also a smallish piece of grilled beef that was tender but very dry like jerky. The salsa was flavorful and on the hot side. The dish was OK but I probably wouldn't order it again. Also tried a couple things from the bakery side and they were fresh and tasty. Service was good. Bathroom was clean. Seemed like the servers and most of the customers spoke Spanish. If I was in the neighborhood again I'd stop in and try something else. Since other reviews mention waiting too long for the food to arrive, I should say the food came in a very reasonable time.”

But in this case the burritos are amazing AND huge. They have my absolute favorite hot sauce which is the chopped chilis. But the jalapeño and the habanero sauce is also too die for. I love that you get a free little bag of chips with your order their chips are delicious and warm! They are nice to eat while waiting for your food. Wow their taco Tuesday is incredibly well priced!
