“Only the second time Ive been to one of these. Damn they are good for fast food. Only three burgers to choose from, add "Animal Style" to them. Very good indeed, not sure they are better than Five Guys, but definitely worth a visit. Fries are very good too, but perhaps a bit on the salty side. You can also get your fries animal style too, which we did. Oh! And it is a great value, less than $20 for two people.”

“Walking up to Bob's was like walking into a movie. During the holiday season it's very picturesque and the atmosphere was awesome. Greeted at the door with smiles and cheer, the restaurant itself has an old world feel to it. The staff were great, they seemed genuinely happy to be there. The food was what you would expect from a place such as Bob's. Well prepared, presents nicely, not flashy and delicious. My filet was perfectly pink and the glazed whole carrot was delicious as were the mashed potatoes. It can be tricky getting to the restaurant and parking is limited unless you want to walk a bit. Highly recommend the valet and get your ticket checked at the restaurant.”

“We recently had lunch here. The place is huge, with multiple seating options. Indoors outdoors, in the back, in the front, seats with cushions and pillows. The food was really good. We asked the staff on recommends and they suggest taco and mussels. So we tried both and both were amazing. We loved the vibe of the place and the staff were sweet. The service was quick. I highly recommend the mussels, it was so simple and yummy!”

It seems to be a fairly busy intersection - but its not as busy as I'd think it would be, given that the food is great (it's KFC, after all). The food is on par. The staff is friendly & competent. “My first visit to Fresco Grill was a wonderful dining experience from the moment we entered this distinctly Italian atmosphere we were greeted by Leone the owner from a town south of Rome, then Alex our server on his first night on the job was friendly and provided excellent service! The Rack of Lamb was outstanding 👏 served on a bed of mashed potatoes and grilled squashes and carrots, and a luscious tasting sauce with fresh sprigs in rosemary. The Linguine Cioppino with fresh mussels, shrimp, clams, fish was great and a generous portion. Dessert was a Special for the night, a type of Cheesecake I've never seen or tasted before, not too sweet, melted in your mouth, then Alex surprised us saying dessert was on the house, complimentary from the owner as first time customers. I highly recommend Fresco Grill located in a pretty little village of shops and restaurants in Bonsall just off Highway 76 & Mission Rd not far from Interstate 15.”

“I was so excited to find this place. It sits about 7 miles outside of Borrego Springs. The restaurant is part of the Ram Hill Golf Course. The price and service was very good. The food was good, we were there for lunch and opted for the special, beef fried steak with chipotle aioli sauce, caramelized onions. It was a little messy I think they put too much sauce on it. We sat outside even though it was a hot day. They had the misters and fan going and with the breeze it was very comfortable. I really enjoyed the view of the golf course and mountains.”

I understand it can be hard to fish out all the bad leaves of the salad but it is imperative for a restaurant not to serve food that can make someone sick. The cocktail was mediocre to taste, the presentation was much better than the actual content. Would I recommend this restaurant? Yes, for the convenience of the location and a good sushi. “Nectarine Grove is a favorite. Almost everything, if not everything, on the menu, is gluten free. They have a wide variety of food options and everything I’ve ordered here tastes delicious! One of the few restaurants around that also does not cook with seed oils! Chicken and Waffles (The chicken is plantain crusted!) , Breakfast Tacos, Chimichurri Steak Bowl, & the Pizzas are a handful of personal favorites. They have a cooler full of rotating desserts that are all really tasty as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. Many of them have actually become friends over the years. They also stock a large selection and variety of drinks. From coffees, to beer and kombuchas, and specialty drink choices. Though I usually stick with the free water. Stoked to have Nectarine Grove in San Diego. We need more restaurants that cook with real butter, coconut oil, and quality whole food ingredients. It’s fairly easy to spend $20-$30 here per person, but I always leave feeling like it was well worth it, & satisfied!”

“If you’re looking for some great Mexican food, then you should consider Gaby’s Tacos. They are located just off of Oceanside Blvd & Camelot (in the Five Star Smog parking lot) Gaby Tacos is a small family-owned Mexican food truck that’s known for their tacos and quesadillas. BUT, they’re also one of the best spots for tortas and they have great burritos too! I recommend their Cubana torta , shrimp quesadilla , milanesa torta, Marca Diablo Burrito, and anything with al pastor or even their fish tacos with their yummy green sauce. They’ve got a shaded canopy with patio seating in front that can accommodate couples or family groups. They also have heaters to keep warm. The one con to their location is the street traffic noise, but they do have their music playing and it gives off a nice “Cabo street dining” vibe. You’ll also have to use the restroom next door at the Smog Station. They also don’t sell alcohol. But they have excellent Agua Frescas & horchata! I recommend this family business and they even offer catering!”
